The International Diabetes Federation invites you to the virtual launch ceremony of the IDF Guide for Diabetes Epidemiology Studies on Thursday 4 February at 12pm CET. The hour-long live webinar will feature a global panel of experts and a Q&A session. Targeted at clinicians, researchers and epidemiologists, the guide represents a major effort to improve data quality in diabetes surveillance. It aims to support those with limited resources in establishing studies that will facilitate appropriate healthcare interventions, inform and evaluate approaches to preventing diabetes and health service planning. The aim of the webinar is to better introduce the guide, present to you the challenges and opportunities for diabetes research on-the-ground, and increase capacity and knowledge for higher quality research.
